The Apartments

Deluxe Studio Living Room

You'll find five, apartment floor plans from which to choose-the junior studio, junior one-bedroom, standard one bedroom, deluxe studio, and premium one-bedroom. Each contains generous living and closet space. The wall-to-wall carpeting and drapes provide a comfortable home environment. Each apartment has individually controlled heat and is set up with cable television and telephone outlets. Depending on the rental plan you choose, utilities may be included in the monthly rent. And, where possible we accept small, quiet and friendly pets.

Dining

Elegant Dining

You can join other residents in our large, elegant dining room to share fine food and stimulating conversation. You'll be assured of carefully planned, nutritionally balanced meals and you won't have to shop or cook unless you want to. In most cases, you choose the meal plan that is right for you - one, two, or all three meals prepared for you daily. During the spring and summer, barbeques and picnics are held in the courtyard garden adjacent to the dining room. And residents can reserve the private dining room for gatherings with family and friends.

Meeting Spaces and Lounges

Sunroom Lounges Offer Spectacular Panoramas of the San Francisco Bay

There are sunroom lounges with nearly floor-to-ceiling windows located on the east side of the building. They offer panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and are perfect for large or small groups of residents to gather amongst themselves or with guests. The piano lounge is the favorite site for the many entertainers who use the grand piano for sing-alongs and other performances. An arts and crafts room is the site for numerous resident projects and is adjoined by a small TV lounge. Residents also enjoy the jukebox room with dance floor and mini-pool tables, an exercise room, the TV/movie theater with its big-screen color television and the library. Little nooks with small clusters of seating provide ideal spots for personal visits at various locations throughout the buildings.

Social Activities

Residents Enjoy Their Leisure Time

You'll be able to find something you enjoy doing in our extensive activities program. We bring in musicians, educators and entertainers of all sorts; celebrate holidays and birthdays; offer exercise and other classes; and arrange day and evening outings to theatres and local sites of interest. As a resident, you're a member of our extended family and you can share companionship to the degree you choose.

We have a full-time activities director who plans fun social, recreational
and educational events for those who wish to participate. Each month a
calendar is published so you can choose those activities in which you want to be
involved. Enjoy get-togethers; play bridge, bingo, pinochle or other games; go bird watching; or attend afternoon teas. There are health awareness, financial and other educational or motivational seminars. There's always a project in progress in the arts and crafts room. Create gifts for special occasions or donate them to community bazaars. You can borrow books from a broad selection in our library, follow the latest developments with periodicals or relax with a favorite novel. Activities are designed around the interests of and suggestions from our residents.

Transportation
As a Marymount Greenhills resident, you'll have access to free, scheduled transportation on our private bus. Visit local physician and dentist offices, shop, and handle your banking or other personal chores without fighting traffic or hassling over parking spaces. Transportation is also provided for recreational outings to theaters, sporting events, restaurants and museums. And, if you have your own automobile, we provide you free parking.

Housekeeping and Laundry
Our "maid service" includes vacuuming and dusting, changing of bedding, laundering bed and bath linen and cleaning kitchen counters, stove tops and bathroom fixtures on a weekly basis. Coin-operated laundry rooms are conveniently located in each building. A variety of other optional services are available.

Extra Security and Peace of Mind
Staff is available on-site 24 hours every day, attentive to your needs without being intrusive, and they are trained to handle emergency situations. Additionally, each apartment is equipped with an emergency response system that staff monitors 24 hours each day. If you signal for help, we'll be there quickly!

The outside doors are locked for resident protection with only the lobby doors open during the day. Staff monitors who enters and leaves the building. Other safety features include fire doors, as well as fire smoke detectors in each apartment. All of which adds up to greater peace of mind for you and your family.
